Exclusive Interview With Ca$hTalk

What is the name of your business? How did you come up with that name?

My business name is Ca$htalk, I came up with this name after starting a clothing line in college called "stay low count up". I just felt that name was too long for me to sell, but I wanted the name to be similar and have the same meaning as Stay Low Count Up..

What inspired you to start your business?

I been buying designer since I was 14, I got tired of spending my money on that bullshit.. plus i know what people like to wear (especially if you fly)..

Me having a clothing line, helps the world for good quality and reasonable prices!

How do you come up with your ideas and designs?

It just come natural to me honestly.. When I first started, I use to sit and draw shit out but that shit a waste of time honestly! Now, I just do a quick sketch to make sure it's what i want then i execute!!

How do you balance family, personal life and running your business?

My clothing line is a business but it isn't.. The reason I say that is because I don't depend on my brand! Cashtalk is more like a hobby for me! Now that I see my brand is growing I'm taking it more serious and focused then ever.. I have bigger goals than cashtalk that'll get me rich, this is just something for the people so they can always have some fly shit to wear!

If you could meet with 5 designers, who would they be?

Local or Global? Local, it's only a few DMV brands i think that are cool.

Global= Moncler, Gucci, Rugby (if they didn't discontinue the brand) thats all to be honest..

Do you plan to collaborate with any business in your industry?

I'm not sure to be honest... I'm the type to do it own my own, but in the business world you have to network..

If i have to choose who I would collab with in DMV right now, it would be Fortune.. I feel their quality and simplicity matches my brand in certain ways!

What is your goal for you and your brand?

Ultimate goal for my brand is to just keep putting out quality pieces and making my supporters proud and eager to buy more cashtalk!
