“Live your best life”

I keep seeing this quote around social media & I myself have used it a few times. The other day Diddy tweeted and said “LIVE YOUR BEST F* LIFE!!” One of my followers responded and said “I try to Diddy but i’m broke.” Although I felt where he was coming from, I think its very important for people to understand that if their happiness is based off of their circumstances at that moment they will never be Living their BEST life. Money will always have the ability to come and go, just because you have an abundance of money right now doesn’t mean that it will always be that way& it’s the same if you are broke right now. How do you know what tomorrow may bring? If you rely on the amount of money in your account or how full your closet is to make you happy you will never have true happiness. Life hits you hard and usually when your least expected so sometimes you can’t prepare for what’s to come, just have to accept what happens and figure out how to keep moving forward. Think about this you just moved into your own place, your bills are paid, relationships are going well, and you just bought yourself a car. It’s everything you ever dreamed of; you look good in it, Its rides smooth, takes regular gas and only takes $25 to fill it up. (That’s important these days) You don’t even mind being the designated driver when you go out now because thats how popping your car is! Two weeks later on your way to work someone runs a red light and hits your front passenger side, leaving you fine but your car? not so much. The insurance company then informs you that your car is totaled & they will send you a check for what the car is worth. In that very moment it may feel like your whole world is crashing and may be upset because you just don’t understand why this would happen to you. A lot of times we don’t understand the outcome of certain situations until after they are over, or even months to years later. We have to learn to not take life so personal, every experience good or bad is there to either teach us a lesson or help us to move on and mature from a person or season. I’ve learned that living in the moment, being grateful for the smallest blessings, and replacing negative thoughts with positive thoughts are the key to living your best life. Believe it or not most of us think ourselves into a bad mood. Have your ever heard the saying “
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions...” Once you put a thought into your head repeatedly you start believe it and once you believe it your actions will show. Began to show gratitude for every small thing that happens in your life, every negative thought that comes to mind immediately think something positive. This will help you to have a peace of mind and inner happiness, and that to me is what living my best life looks like.
