SCAM OR SCHOLAR ?!

When I was in high school I had dreams of going Hampton University majoring in Nursing. After hearing my family and others around me continue to tell me I wasn’t ready to leave home I decided not to go and started at community college. Years later here I am ready to just quit and be done with college because, IT’S SUCH A SCAM!!!!
First of all, I believe if education is as important as they say, it should be free. If not free then it should at least be affordable, its almost like you go into debt to get your degree just to work and struggle paying it all back! After years and years of hard work & then ending up in debt, most graduates don’t even get a job related to their major. They face problems after graduation such as no experience, not enough jobs for their major, or simply realizing they no longer share the same passion for their major. In my opinion if college is going to cost us this much and force us into debt it should also secure us a well paid job or at least make enough connections so that graduates can get jobs without years of experience. For me this makes it hard to stay committed & give college my all when it really doesn’t set me up for my future. I work full time now to try and make a living and put myself through college. Only to hope for a job that will satisfy my shopping addiction, pay my rent, car note, insurance and all my other bills, Oh yeah and my student loans!!! Having just enough money for my bills is acceptable right now while I'm young, but after college I would expect at that point I would be able to live lavishly with my career, family, cars, and buy a home. I'm just saying how can I do all of that making only twenty cents more an hour than I do now? Ok, of course it will probably be more than that but you catch my drift. Many people will read this and say it's because I don’t wanna work hard after college, but honestly I would just like to reap all the benefits of my hard work put into college!
