Its YOUR name on the line!!

Over the years the importance of work ethic has completely gone out of the window. I think schools should make more of an effort to create more lessons on “surviving in the real world.” Many 20/21 year olds don’t even have a resume, or even know how to create one. Not only schools though, parents should also be teaching their children how having a job shouldn’t just be about money, but they should teach responsibly and the importance of BUILDING a resume. They should teach their child to leave jobs the correct way, you know give a two week notice fulfill those two weeks then you leave. Don’t just up and leave a job without another one secured. Use your jobs to network and meet people you can use for references. Even if you don’t like the job or your co-workers/management, leaving on a bad note can backfire on you!!! I’ve seen it happen, somewhere down the line you will need a reference or management switched businesses and now you can’t get the job because they remember you from the last place. Every opportunity you encounter should get 100% of your hardwork & dedication not for the satisfaction of the job but because your name is on the line and you never know who & when you may need. Don’t let this jobs reputation take away from opportunities your working towards for your career!
